Married for forty years to LaVonna Lee McKinzie. LaVonna and Howard have two grown children, Russell and Laurie. Russell is the Pastor of Hutto Community Church in Hutto, TX. Laurie is the Head Athletic Trainer at The Brook Hill School (A Christ-Centered college prep school) in the Tyler, TX area. Both Russell and Laurie are married. Howard enjoys hiking, backpacking and deer hunting when time permits. In addition, Howard likes keeping up with his favorite sports teams.
